Forli Airport

Forli Airport is a small airport in Italy. It is also known as Luigi Ridolfi and it was named after an Italian aviator. In Italian it's name is Aeroporto di Forli-‘Luigi Ridolfi.’ In order to differentiate it from the others, it has been given IATA code of FRL. It has been given ICAO code which is LIPK. It is considered as one of the important getaways in Italy though it is a small airport. In terms of equipments, it has been described as well equipped. Forli airport is situated 70 kilometers from Bologna. A short drive from away is the city of Forli which takes about 15 to 20 minutes. The Town of Florence on the other hand is 70 kilometers from Forli.

The largest operators is Wizz air and Ryanair. Forli airport was used by Wind Jet before it moved to Rimini. Forli airport is to the south east of the town of Forli. There is a bus that offer routes to the town. It is estimated that Forli airport handled 346,000 passengers in 2011 which shows that the number of passengers has decreased from the previous years.

One has to pay extra fees for excessive luggage.
